Featuring the latest, cutting-edge electronic rider aids, the 701 SUPERMOTO and 701 ENDURO feature the highest levels of performance and safety, fitted with cornering ABS, lean angle sensitive traction control, switchable ride modes and easy shift as standard.

Both models are extremely well-balanced and deliver outstanding agility and handling. The renowned, torquey, 74 hp single-cylinder 692.7 cc engine features ride-by-wire throttle, offering a perfectly linear power delivery in all riding conditions.

For the first time, each model has their own unique new graphics. Strikingly individual, each machine features progressive colours that guarantee they stand out in style.

NORDEN 901 CONCEPT, MOTO3 COMPETITION MACHINE AND JARVIS EDITION ENDURO MODEL AMONG HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES’ HIGHLIGHTS AT INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW IN MILAN

Husqvarna Motorcycles are proud to lift the covers off 10 thrilling models at the 2019 EICMA show in Milan, Italy – the European manufacturer’s largest display of new motorcycles since the start of their new era. With the twin-cylinder NORDEN 901 concept breaking cover, the stirring array of models underline Husqvarna Motorcycles’ growing commitment to the street sector, while highlighting significant new motorsport activities and the ongoing development of all models in terms of performance, technology and design.

Centre stage at EICMA will be the new NORDEN 901 concept model. Unveiled for the first time, this new twin-cylinder machine is Husqvarna Motorcycles’ first ever tourer machine. A dynamic and versatile long-distance concept, the NORDEN 901 balances practical accessibility and comfort to suit the modern traveller.

The last three years have seen Husqvarna Motorcycles successfully return to the street segment, the updated VITPILEN and SVARTPILEN models receive new colours, trim and graphics while delivering a dynamic and fun-filled riding experience.

Leading the 2019 line-up, the 701 SUPERMOTO and 701 ENDURO are thoroughly revised with new cutting-edge electronics that elevate the performance and safety of these exciting single-cylinder motorcycles. A long-range 701 ENDURO LR will be added to the line-up in 2020. With its 25-litre fuel capacity, 500 km distances between fuel stops allow riders to conquer any terrain, no matter how remote. In the offroad segment, the new TE 300i JARVIS EDITION celebrates Graham Jarvis’ success on the extreme enduro world stage.

Showcasing the brand’s commitment to both the street sector and motorsport, Husqvarna Motorcycles will re-enter the Moto3 World Championship in 2020. Officially supporting the Max Biaggi owned Max Racing Team, the official FR 250 GP machinery that will be used by Romano Fenati and Alonso Lopez is exclusively unveiled at EICMA.

Weighing only 158 kg and 161 kg respectively without fuel, both motorcycles feature adjustable suspension and are further highlighted by new spoked wheels and CNC machined footrests.

XITE Racing Mini Cooper SX1 to feature in DiRT Rally 2.0 DLC

DiRT Rally 2.0 players will be able to drive the popular XITE Racing MINI Cooper SX1 in-game soon as part of the Season 4 downloadable content, which will be available from 14 January 2020 across PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows PC.

The Mini will become the second XITE Energy-backed car to appear in the game, with the Ford Fiesta available to all players from the launch of the game.

XITE Energy Director and FIA World Rallycross driver Oliver Bennett expressed his delight at the addition of the Mini to the game.
“It’s great to see the Mini Cooper finally announced on DiRT Rally 2.0; we’ve got an excellent relationship with Codemasters through XITE, and that helped us initially get the Fiesta on the game, which was great for not only myself but also the fans.
“We get so many pictures sent through to us playing the game in our car, trying to set lap times in competitions that we’ve run, which has been great.
“We’ve taken that to events all over the UK with the four Playseat® simulators on the back of that partnership, which has been great, but the amount of people that have asked ‘Can I drive the Mini?’ has been immense and unfortunately up until this point they haven’t been able to, so to see the Mini finally come on the game is going to be sick, its going to be great fun to get back on the game and do some laps in the Mini.”

Along with the Mini, players will see the addition of the Killarney International Raceway in South Africa, which will host the season finale of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in November. Fan favourite Lydden Hill returns to the DiRT series along with a host of other Rallycross related content.

“It’s been six months since we launched DiRT Rally 2.0 and the response from our community has been positive,” added Ross Gowing, DiRT Rally 2.0 Game Director at Codemasters.

“We spend a lot of time listening to our players, and we’re delighted to bring them remastered classics alongside new vehicles and locations to give them a completely new experience.

“Seasons Three and Four are a perfect blend of classic and new with the likes of Greece and Finland which were established on the original DiRT Rally, through to new RX circuits in Abu Dhabi and South Africa. There is so much variety that will appeal to old and new players alike. We’re also delighted to update the FIA World Rallycross Championship with new 2019 vehicles as well as bodywork and livery updates.”
