Mulville Friday: Play Pro comp update/Vital DITL

Courtesy of Profile Racing

Even with a few bad falls and a full day of rain pushing back the contest, it was still a great weekend!
Saturday was a wash out, raining off and on all day, but that didn’t stop Coplon and myself from riding a bit on the slippery wet ramps…

Sunday turned out to be a whole different story weather wise!

The contest started early in the day at Mike Spinner’s house and was kinda rushed, but it was awesome!
After the contest, I rushed over to the Emmittbmx.com dirt jam about 10 minutes up the road in Boca Raton, FL at “Drop In Action Sports Complex”.

The jam also ended up super good, with a lot of people showing up and Vans, Profile, Subrosa and Kind Bars throwing down some goods to give away.

Thanks Emmittbmx.com Profile Racing, Subrosa brand and everyone who helped me out!

Mulville at Dew Tour

First time in the Dew Tour! I had an absolute blast in San Fran and at the Dew Tour for sure.
Ended up finishing the prelims tied for 10th place, but lost the tie breaker, so no finals for me… but, I still could not stop smiling and joking the entire time! After the contest festivities were all done, I had a full day to explore parts of the city and check out some sights like the Golden Gate Bridge, where I ran into my buddy Dustin. He and I had a little cruise on the bridge and he shot a cool photo of me doing a hop bar while half way across the bridge.I wanna say thanks to everyone who helped me out and gave me this opportunity and a big thanks to Profile Racing, Subrosa, Vans shoes, Rockwell watches, Emmitt BMX, Dang Shades and S1 helmets.

I appreciate it all!

“I’ve been working on this edit for a couple months between dealing with injuries and being busy with shows. I teamed up with Dylan Pfhol and we came up with this project: One of my favorite edits I have ever filmed! Hopefully you guys enjoy it. Pull up a chair, grab some milk and have a slice of cherry pie!!!
Thanks Profile Racing for making this possible!”

Saavedra and LA’s inner city pump track

Courtesy of Profile Racing

So after digging almost non stop for the last 3 weeks at the trails, I needed to take a day off and get some riding in. Aaron Nardi hit me up about coming out to work on an edit at this pump track he had been working on. So the next day Sal and I took a trip out to LA. After a few phone calls we met up with Jeremy Pavia who didn’t live too far from the spot. We weren’t sure what to expect but the place ended up being really fun. We met the locals and helped get everything running from the rain the night before. Within a hour we had the whole track looking good. Just in time for sandwiches and cold beer, courtesy of Pete the main dude behind the project. After that we spent the afternoon doing trains and goofing off like the kids we are. Its really good to see people like Pete doing something positive for the community. All the kids have a great opportunity to learn how to ride a bike now thanks to all that has gone in to this place. Check out espn for an edit of the inner city pump track.
