American legend on podium ahead of 2020 retirement as Zurita fourth in BMX.

2019 X Games Minneapolis got underway on Thursday with American legend Ronnie Renner adding another medal to his collection. Here is all you need to know:

– Renner, 42, shared bronze with Colby Raha in the SoFi Moto X Step Up as Australian Jarryd McNeil retained his title and Californian Bryce Hudson earned silver.

– Florida’s Renner is the most decorated athlete in Moto X Step Up history with seven golds alone to his name and this bronze at the U.S. Bank Stadium will boost him ahead of his last competitive year in 2020.

– Chile’s Coco Zurita just missed bronze in the Pacifico BMX Vert behind American Mykel Larrin, Briton Jamie Bestwick and Australian winner Vince Byron, who put down a 90.66 run for gold with Zurita fourth after an 85.

– The 35-year-old rider, who splits his time between California and Santiago, has one X Games silver and one bronze in the discipline during his career.
