It was warm in Glen Helen and with temperatures above the 35 degrees it was physically demanding for the riders. Harri was riding a strong qualifying heat and managed to finish in fourth position. In the first moto he took a really good start and went into the first corner in first position. The pace was high and this cost him a few positions in the beginning of the race. When he was riding in fifth position he found his rhythm and was following the new world champion Tim Gajser. In the second part of the race he lost three positions to Pauls Jonass, Max Anstie and Valentin Guillod. Harri kept doing his own thing and managed to pass Jonass back to finish the race in seventh position. In the second moto things went well again for Harri. He started the race in seventh and with consistent lap times he managed to held on to this position till the checkered flag waved. Overall he finished in eight position. Despite the fact that he has missed a lot of races this year, he still finished in seventeenth position in the championship.

Dean Ferris had a difficult Grand Prix in Glen Gelen. In time practice he wasn’t able to put a perfect lap together and had to be satisfied with 24th position. In the qualifying heat he was struggling to find his rhythm and couldn’t do better than to finish in 23rd position. Dean stayed positieve and was determined to make the best of it in the motos on Sunday. In the first moto he started the race outside of the top twenty. With a good rhythm he passed several riders during the race and worked his way up into seventeenth position. In the closing stages of the race he lost a position to Tyla Rattray and finally came home in eighteenth position.

The start of the second moto was a lot better but due to a small crash in the first lap he dropped back to nineteenth position. His riding went a lot better in this moto and he managed to pass one rider after another. With still a few laps to go he had worked himself up into fourteenth position and this was also the position in which he finished. Dean ended the weekend in eighteenth position overall and finished in eleventh position in the final championship standings.
