Gautier Paulin to miss Loket

Coming back home on Monday, Gautier Paulin went for more exams this week and hopefully the native from Draguignan has no other troubles than a hematoma at his left leg. But after his concussion, he feels tired and needs some more days to recover and be able to ride his KXF 450 Kawasaki. “We spoke with the team, and we’ve decided together to postpone my comeback as I don’t feel 100%. It’s the first time in my career that I had a concussion, and it could be dangerous to race in Loket. I will continue to work alongside my doctors, in order to comeback as soon as possible to my best level” said Gautier who already won three GP’s this season and was runner up in the series before the German GP.
The Kawasaki Racing Team supports his rider in his recovery program, and shares with him the decision to skip the Czech GP, round 14 of 17 in the FIM Motocross World Championship. “We always said to Gautier that he has to take his time to recover, we want to see him back only when he feels ready. The crash was pretty hard, and he needs time to be fit again. We are all behind him,” said team manager François Lemariey.
